It is very easy to add or remove codes on the keypad. These codes can only be programmed on the keypad by using the programming code which is set for your lock by Schlage. It can store up to 19 codes with 4 digits only. In order to lock your door just press the Schlage logo and rotate the thumb. Pressing the Schlage logo is also used to lock the door. This means it can’t lock or unlock automatically. After entering the code you have to manually turn the thumb to unlock the door. When you press the Schlage logo on the top, it will turn on the lights so you can use it at the dark. Buttons are covered with silicone to prevent numbers from getting deleted by the time passes.
